Kimberly Hammer

About the Author

Kimberly Borchardt Hammer lives in the beautiful wine country of northern California.  A former high school English teacher, she currently teaches third grade.  Writing is a passion she has dabbled in since the age of 9, penning stories for her students and herself.  While not teaching, Kimberly enjoys traveling to various locations, especially Chico, California, the setting of her first book.

Kimberly lost a son unexpectedly in 2018. She knows the grief that so many parents experience over the loss of a loved one.  She hopes to encourage those who are traveling that road of grief, that “they will see better days ahead.”
